Harrison Bay State Park, Tennessee

Hello all,

On Saturday, (1-27-07) my family went with the Burns family to Harrison Bay State Park from 5 pm to 6pm. We got to see some nice birds, including some uncommon birds for our area.
Here is the list from our visit:

Red-tailed Hawk - 1 (on the way)
Ring-billed Gull - 125+
Herring Gull - 2 (juveniles)
RED-HEADED WOODPECKER - 3 (1 adult and 1 juvenile, the other one we didn't get a good enough look to age it)
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 1 (male)
Downy Woodpecker - 1 (male)
Brown-headed Nuthatch - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 2+
Carolina Chickadee - 10+
Tufted Titmouse - 3+
Carolina Wren - 2+
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 3+
Pine Warbler - 1
Northern Cardinal - 7+
Common Grackle - 10+
RUSTY BLACKBIRD - 50+ (Rusty Blackbirds are uncommon to rare in our area, especially in this big of a flock. This is only the third time I've seen Rusty Blackbirds in our area!!!)

Good Birding!
